This wasn’t just any fan: He introduced himself as David Kim, the concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, which was in town on a European tour. So it wasn’t too surprising when a stranger recognized that ensemble’s chief conductor, Christian Thielemann, as he ate lunch on the cafe’s terrace on a recent Saturday.
